Caulerpa video in the news:
The Caulerpa taxifolia invasion at Agua Hedionda Lagoon, Carlsbad, California, 2000. Prior to the release of Caulerpa into the lagoon, this area was a native seagrass bed. In this video, the remnant blades of the seagrass (eelgrass- Zostera marina) can be seen as they are overtaken by the more aggressive Caulerpa.
